Two Christian women convert to Islam at Imam Reza shrine

On the birth anniversary of Hazrat Fatima Zahra, two young women from Canada and Sweden converted to Islam under the auspices of the Department of Religions and Denominations of AQR’s Office for Non-Iranian Pilgrims’ Affairs.

Hawzah News Agency- Hawzah News Agency- In a spiritual ceremony coinciding with the birth anniversary of Hazrat Zahra at Imam Reza shrine (northeast Iran), a 20-year-old woman from Canada and a 22-year-old woman from Sweden joined the Muslim community with awareness and love for Islamic teachings.

After studying and examining Islamic teachings, these two young women decided to embrace Islam and received their certificates of conversion in a spiritual atmosphere, with representatives of Astan Quds Razavi (AQR) in attendance.

The Office for Non-Iranian Pilgrims’ Affairs presented these new Muslim women with books on Islam, including those on resurrection and the concept of pilgrimage, as well as comparative family books from the perspectives of Islam and Christianity titled ‘Parental Duties and Relations with Relatives’.

Additionally, they received an English-translated copy of the Holy Quran as a memento of this spiritual ceremony.

Expressing their happiness about converting to Islam, the newly converted women appreciated the kindness and hospitality of the Iranian people and Astan Quds Razavi (AQR).

They hoped to contribute to the spread of peace and friendship among nations through a deeper understanding of Islamic teachings.

Astan Quds Razavi continues its efforts to promote Islamic teachings and create a space for dialogue and exchange of views and opinions among different religions.
